I’m enjoying working through your book Smashing WordPress: Beyond the Blog 2nd ed., look forward to seeing the 3rd edition, and am using the 2nd edition so far to adapt our company’s pending deeply revised website (not yet posted).

It already features custom headers. Most CSS solutions for drop down menus should work.
