Notes Blog is a WordPress theme concept. It strives to be simple, easily built-upon using add-on themes, but entirely usable by itself. The concept was created by Thord Daniel Hedengren, designer and blogger, who needed a theme to build his projects, as well as client sites on.
The Notes Blog Core Theme
There are two sides to the Notes Blog project. The first one is the free Notes Blog Core theme, the one everything is built upon. Anyone can download this theme, modify it, build upon it, and use it for both personal and commercial projects. It islicensed under GPL version 3.
The Core theme is in the middle of the concept. As such, it is the creator’s opinion that anyone should be able to use it.
Custom Designs and Support
The other part of the Notes Blog concept is custom designs and add-ons, as well as support, from the creator. These services are not offered for free, and are aimed at the companies and publishers who could really benefit from the experience and expertise that Thord Daniel Hedengren can offer.
Naturally, there will be free support for the Core theme, as well as tips and tricks, guides and whatnot, on the Notes Blog website. Premium support, however, will cost money.

A Project in Beta
